This commission started with request for SAA to assist a Maryland contractor with the Programing for the offices for a family friend. The programing expanded to a full design. The owner had selected a site in a Redevelopment district across from the main Gate or historic Fort Huachuca. SAA’s Tilt-Up design was able to deliver a much better value then the stud and EFIS/Stucco solution others had suggested. The Tilt-Up design can be easily adapted to meet the GSA or DOD force resistance requirements. DST initially occupies the entire second floor and will lease the first floor to a tenant, until DST’s continued success requires the space. One unique request of the ownership was to include a roof terrace with a view of the Huachuca Mountains.
