This 116,000 square foot investment building is a concrete tilt-up design, the first of two buildings to be developed on the property. The exterior makes imaginative use of a color scheme that is not just “another white tilt-up building”, this is intended to underscore the fact that Carrier Centers is just not another speculative space provider, but instead a unique developer on great workplaces for their customers.
When SAA Architecture LLC first was asked to study the development potential of this property, it quickly became evident that the site was encumbered with a significant amount of excess dirt that would dramatically restrict the amount of building that could be successfully developed. SAA Architecture LLC coordinated the development of a strategy to have 120,000 cubic yards of excess dirt hauled away from the property, the site graded to meet the requirements of the proposed buildings and sediment control measures put in place at a cost to our client of $110,000, helping our client save in excess of $500,000.
