Why You Need To Hire an Architect!
June 3, 2008
Dear Valued Customer, Clients and Friends,
The year 2005 marks my 30th year in business: three enjoyable and successful decades of buildings, projects, friendships! These successes are, in large part, a direct result of the loyal support of clients and friends that have developed over these 30 years! THANK YOU! From our first office on the lower level of the Kenilcrest Building in Cheverly, MD and its subsequent growth-forced relocation’s to Lanham, MD, Beltsville, MD to our current office in the Office Center in Laurel, MD, Prince George’s County has always been home to my treasured architectural business.
Our loyal clients give us the opportunity to earn their business time and time again. My architectural practice has included numerous types and sizes of projects ranging from the extremely large to the “not so extremely large.” Characteristically, though, each project regardless of its size enables me to embody a focus and commitment to striking, functional, and innovative work. Each and every project, regardless of its size provides a special set of opportunities to provide our best and finest work centering on an acknowledgment of confidence and faith you place in my firm. Believe me, customer trust in what we do is not something I take lightly, it truly is the source of my inspiration in striving to remain innovative and functional.
As a customer-center architectural practice, we’ve had our fair share of employees come and go, but our guiding values; striking, functional, and innovative architecture will continue to remain our guiding light into the future. We are driven to meet schedules and budgets, while providing sensible value to our clients in our fees and the contract values of the projects we deliver. While getting the “latest and greatest” award is somewhat important (I’m sure that most architects want and need a sense of professional validation), we measure our goal fulfillment success by evaluating how well our clients’ projects do in the real estate market. Clients continually confirm that we are on the right track when they: return with new challenging projects, and refer us to friends and colleagues.
The year, 2005 heralds the beginning of the next 30 years of success! While the market will probably continue to covet some of our staff, and some employees will unfortunately come and go, our guiding belief and values will remain well into the next thirty years: customer service, creativity, and integrity.
Whether you have concerns about an existing project or you think you’re ready to start a new project, like the Taj Mahal (just kidding, but it is striking, functional, and innovative!), please remember that as the senior partner for SAA, I am just a phone call, visit or an e-mail away.
Respectfully,
R. Glen Stephens,
President and Senior Partner, SAA Architecture LLC.
